Coping with Life Recovery Training Programme
*Service changes due to COVID19:*
Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham’s offices are now closed, all of our staff are operating remotely offering one to one support, advocacy, talking therapies, employment support and advice.
We have uploaded resources on our website to support clients www.mithn.org.uk and we will be contacting all of our clients by phone or email to ensure that we can respond to the rapidly changing circumstances as a result of Covid-19.
This is a very stressful time for our clients, please do call us or email us and we will try to respond in 3 working days or sooner if we possibly can.
Please follow advice – stay home, only leave home for essential needs and stay safe

The coping with life project will cover all areas of Tower Hamlets, providing short term intervention for mental health service users focusing on co-production and empowering people to gain the skills and knowledge to become experts in their own mental health self-management.
Each programme will consist of six weekly sessions with an aim to help individuals identify particular issues or difficulties they are experiencing and gain the knowledge, skills and coping strategies to be better able to make positive changes which will benefit their life.
Each programme will offer 12 places to attend all 6 workshops and work through the programme of training and activities towards each individual producing a Wellness and Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) of their own.
The programme of courses will offer a model of short term interventions addressing specific themes in people’s lives in which they can make positive changes and develop real and important coping skills and strategies which they can use in their lives.
