The advocacy service is aimed at people aged 50+ to access support and information, have their voices heard and explore choices available. An Advocate will discuss the issue(s), actions which can be undertaken and agree in partnership with the older person which actions will be undertaken and by whom.
The service is part of the Local Link Partnership of which Age UK East London is one of seven local organisations which are funded by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
The service has 2 drop-in sessions based at Appian Court, 87 Parnell Road, London E3 2RS on Tuesday afternoons: 13.30 – 15.30 and on Thursdays 10.00 – 15.00.
Appointments can also be booked for Monday mornings at the Age UK East London office at 82 Russia Lane, E2 9LU.
